Coronavirus

It started with a fever that I could not seem to shake off accompanied by chills. No, the diarrhea started it I think followed by the sore throat and then the feeling of heaviness all over. Headache wasn’t far behind too that at last I listened to my Infectious Diseases specialist sister and took a swab test. I was indeed positive in the antigen test I administered on myself and felt crushed.

Mainly because our high school class was having a reunion that night at my dad’s Chicken Barbecue place. We had been planning about that for awhile now and everyone’s excited. But I ended up missing the occasion.

I also ended up missing my husband and eldest son’s trip to Cebu for his Math training, but I opted to do that in order to be available for the reunion which I subsequently missed.

But I am still grateful because I am in a better shape now. I still don’t have my regular voice back, there is still a slight heaviness and headache that I feel but at least the colds is gone and I believe I am out of the woods.
